Former All Black Guildford set to join Waratahs

Former All Blacks and Crusaders winger Zac Guildford looks set to join 2014
Super Rugby Champions the Waratahs for the 2016 season.

Guildford moved to France last year but was released from his contract with
Clermont for family reasons.

Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson was formerly the Crusaders assistant coach so he
knows first hand what Guildford can do on the playing field and also knows about
his off field problems.

Twenty-six-year-old Guildford made his All Black debut in 2009 and played 11
tests for New Zealand between then and 2012 and was part of the world cup winning
2011 Rugby world cup squad.

After Guildford left France Gibson is understood to have made contact with
Guildford and terms are said to have been agreed but not yet signed.

If Guildford does join the Waratahs he would join as a foreign marquee player
which was previously held by Jacques Potgieter for the past two years.
