The seven man version of rugby union. 7 players and 7 minutes. A much faster version of rugby union and is played by all the major rugby playing nations in mini tournaments held in various locations around the world. The most popular venue continues to be Hong Kong.

Super 14 Rugby

The Southern Hemisphere's premier provincial tournament. The Super 14 (Was Super12) is a provincialbased tournament where 14 teams play each other once (alternating venues annually) for league/table points. Once the scheduled matches are completed the semi final teams are the top four teams. The top two host semis.

Australian Rugby Championship

Australia's answer to the NPC & the Currie Cup. Originally contested in 2006 under the name Australian Provincial Championship it then changed it's name to the Mazda Australian Rugby Championship.

Magners League

The Celtic League, currently known as the Magners League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual rugby union competition involving regional sides from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It is one of the three major leagues in Europe, along with the English Guinness Premiership and the French Top 14.

British & Irish Lions Rugby

The British & Irish Lions are made up of England,Scotland,Ireland & Wales top rugby players and tour every four years. In 2001 they went to Australia, 2005 to New Zealand and in 2009 they will tour South Africa. They are commonly referred to as the Lions.
