All Blacks and Crusaders number 8 Kieran Read says that he is ready to return to playing Super Rugby after playing a warm up match.
Read played 40 minutes of a match for a Crusaders development side the Crusaders Knights against the Hurricanes equivalent.
Read’s Knights beat the Hurricanes side 38-21 in Porirua and now he feels he is ready to play Super Rugby again.
The All Black star had not played since last year’s end of year tour and says that he wants to make his Super Rugby return next week.
The Crusaders have a bye this week so they are not playing but Read could return next week in Round 5 when they host the Lions.
