Bloemfontein based Super Rugby franchise the Cheetahs have suffered a blow ahead of the new Super 18 Rugby season with the loss of Oupa Mohoje.
Mohoje has been training with the Springbok Sevens squad and suffered an injury that is expected to see him sidelined for at least three months.
Springbok Mohoje told Netwerk24 that Blitzboks coach Neil Powell wanted him to play for the Sevens Academy team in Dubai next weekend before he suffered the injury.
Twenty-five-year-old Mohoje will now miss the Cheetahs Super Rugby pre-season training.
The Cheetahs start their 2016 Super Rugby season against the Argentina side on the 26th of February in Bloemfontein.
