Top 14 Rugby club Castres have signed former All Black prop Saimone Taumoepeau as injury cover.
Castres will lose Yannick Forestier for an undetermined period while he has a hernia operation so Taumoepea have been brought in as injury cover.
Thirty-five-year-old Taumoepeau won three caps for New Zealand and has extensive experience in playing for Castres.
Taumoepeau played for the French club between 2011 and June 2015 before he joined Brive as cover for the Rugby World Cup.
