Bordeaux-Begles edge Exeter Chiefs

Bordeaux-Begles put a dent in Exeter Chiefs’ chances of qualifying for the European Rugby Champions Cup knock out stages by beating the English side 34-27 at Stade Chaban-Delmas.

Bordeaux earned five points from the match which puts them level on 11 points with Exeter while the Ospreys (16) lead Clermont on 14 points.

The result means that all four teams in the Pool are still alive and qualification will come down to next week’s matches.
