Boland rugby coach Deon Davids made just two changes for Saturday’s Currie Cup match against Western Province from the one that lost 31-10 to the Lions last weekend.
Springbok Sevens star Danwel Demas has recovered from a shoulder injury and replaces Alshaun Bock on the left wing.
In the only other change live-wire prop Jean Botha is also back from injury and replaces Andries Human on the bench. Davids showed faith in his new loose forward combination of David Hendricks, Josh Strauss and Angelo Brinkhuis who excelled against the Lions.
On Saturday they face another sterling test against Schalk Burger and company. Davids said his team is well prepared and ready for the Province onslaught.
Boland last year shocked the Cape Town outfit 15-10 in a mud bath that promises to be even worse come Saturday.
The Boland team is:
Justin Peach, Deon Scholtz, Piet van Zyl (capt), Dewey Swartbooi, Danwel Demas, Algar Watts, Marnus Hugo, David Hendricks, Josh Strauss, Angelo Brinkhuis, Brad Mockford, Nico Esterhuyse, Jacobie Adriaanse, Harry Vermaas, Janro van Niekerk.
Replacements: Danie van der Merwe, Lionel Cornelius, Hein Myburgh, Jean Botha, Cecil Kemp, Zolani Mofu.
