Bath romped to an eight try 58-5 Aviva Premiership victory over Newcastle Falcons at the Recreation Ground.
The match was new director of rugby Todd Blackadder’s first home match for Bath.
Bath made the stronger start and were leading 6-0 when Semesa Rokoduguni almost scored a length of the field try.
However Falcons wing Vereniki Goneva was yellow carded for illegally preventing the try from being so he was yellow carded and a penalty try awarded.
From there Bath scored three quick tries in eight minutes which put the match beyond Newcastle.
