Argentina team sign Hernandez for Super Rugby

The Argentina Super Rugby franchise have added to their playing stocks for
the 2016 Super Rugby season by signing Pumas star Juan Martin Hernandez.

The news comes a day after the new franchise signed Juan Manuel Leguizamon
who has spent the last decade playing in Europe.

The fifty-three-cap Hernandez has signed a two year contract as he says he
wants to be part of Argentina’s national franchise in Super Rugby.

Juan Martin Hernandez is a utility back who has built a career on his kicking
and all round skills.

Hernandez was a crucial part of the Pumas 2007 Rugby World Cup campaign in
which they finished in third place overall.

“I hadn’t given it much thought but I was convinced I wanted to be part
of what’s next (for rugby in Argentina),” said Hernandez on signing his
contract.

Later on his Twitter account he said,”I’m very happy to be part of this project!”

Hernandez has spent the last twelve years playing his rugby in Europe.
