Rugby Week wins Web award
"We
have only gone and won an award !"
We are pleased to announce that Rugbyweek.com has won a Bronze award
from SA
Web Awards.
We are pretty proud of our web site and now we can say it's an award
winning web site !
Rugbyweek.com was re-branded and re launched at the start of October
2009 and has received positive feedback from it's re-launch.
Just two weeks into the life of the new site we were sent an email
notifying us that we had won a Bronze SA
Web Award.
As you can imagine we are pretty chuffed to have won an award for
our web site. It has however set our sights on higher goals.
Whilst we are honoured to have received a Bronze award we have already
set our goals on higher awards and have set our sights on the Gold
award.
The judges found that Rugbyweek.com's strongest feature was it's
content which covers all rugby tournaments from the Guinness Premiership
to the Super14 to the Six Nations.
Rugbyweek.com was judged on content, layout, functionality and overall
appeal and missed out on a silver award by a very small margin. The
results were therefore at the top end of Bronze awards.

About SA Web awards
SA
Web Awards was launched in 2003 and quickly became South Africa's
top web site review site. Their aim has always been to recognise South
Africa's top web design talent.
Their web site review program is unique and it ensures that their
web site awards carry weight and recognition in the industry.
Web sites that are submitted to SA Web Awards are evaluated by at
least 3 web site judges. Each judge reviews the web site and gives
it a score in each of these four categories: content, layout, functionality
and overall appeal.
The combined score from all the judges determines whether the web
site wins an SA
Web Award.
There are 3 levels of award: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Not all Web
sites are given awards so we are glad to have been given a Bronze
award and we will continue to strive for excellence and one day get
the Gold award.
