Bath Rugby have confirmed that Steve Borthwick has been stood down as club captain.
Borthwick, 28, confirmed last week that he will be leaving The Rec this summer after 10 years to join Saracens on a four-year contract.
Head coach Steve Meehan, meanwhile, is already weighing up the club’s options regarding a replacement for the departing Borthwick.
