Bath Look for Bonus Point Ahead of Auch

Having walked away with a bonus point last weekend against Parma, Bath Rugby will once again be looking at achieve a similar win against Auch this weekend at The Rec.

“We are looking for a bonus point win this week. It is part of the goal setting that the players and coaches have agreed. We want to get 10 points out of our last two European games (which is the maximum), so we are going out there to score some tries and I think coming back home is a great bonus for us and we are looking to put in a really good performance that will lead us into the match against Saracens,” said Brad Davis – Bath Rugby’s Skills and Defence Coach.

Donning the Number 10 shirt again this weekend is Butch James. James played his first game for Bath Rugby against Auch and will be looking to have the same impact this time around, having settled into his role at the club. “He has obviously got a greater understanding of our patterns of play,” said Davis.

“Anyone who is either side of Butch plays well, and the team as a whole are playing well and that is real credit to him. He is a world-class player and he has been a great addition to our team.”
