Bristol brought an Harlequins’ chances of a Heineken Cup quarter-final place but did their own chances a lot of good with their first away win since January.
Harlequins who lost to the Ospreys last week were disappointing and Dean Richards told the BBC how bad he thought it was, “It is probably the worst we’ve played in two-and-a-half years which is the most disappointing thing.”
Bristol took the lead early on with tries from Alfie To’oala and David Lemi and they stayed in front for the match which was so ill tempered that Referee Peter Allan had to speak to the captains twice.
