Henson ruled out for Six Weeks

Ospreys and Wales centre Gavin Henson has been ruled out of action for four-to-six weeks with a broken hand which will keep him out of contention for the rest of the group stages of the Heineken Cup.

The injury should heal in time for Wales’ 2 February Six Nations opener against England at Twickenham but it will restrict the amount of pre match training that Henson is able to undergo in the run up to that Six Nations match. .

Henson suffered the injury while playing a starring role in last weekend’s 19-8 EDF Energy Cup win at Harlequins.

He scored all of the Ospreys points.

Rugbyweek.com  reported earlier this week Henson was questioned by police for “rowdy” behaviour on train following Ospreys victory over Harlequins at the weekend.

Henson has apologised to fellow passengers after he and his friends were accused of rowdy and disruptive behaviour, transport police speaking to the group when they arrived in Cardiff.
