Ngwenya signs with Biarritz

Takudzwa Ngwenya, the US Eagles wing who famously skinned South African superstar and cheetah-racer (he lost) Bryan Habana in the World Cup, is set to make his mark in the Heineken Cup.

Ngwenya was taken on trial by Saracens after the World Cup, and most had assumed he would sign up there, but that appears not now to be the case.

Ngwenya, whose previous club was US Super League outfit Dallas Athletic, was registered as an extra player in Biarritz’s Heineken Cup squad on Thursday.

He could yet make his debut for his club in their match against Saracens in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.
