Romanian coach Daniel Santamans has made several changes to his side, including replacing captain Sorin Socol, for their game with Portugal on Tuesday.
Socol, who has captained the side in their last two outings, has been replaced in the second row by Cosmin Ratiu, which means number eight Ovidiu Tonita takes over the captaincy.
A start for Catalin Nicolae on the right wing means that Catalin Fercu switches to the left wing, whilst fly-half Ionut Dimofte shifts to outside centre. The fly-half berth will be filled by Dan Dumbrava.
The only front row player retained from the 42-0 defeat against Scotland is Bogdan Balan, and he will be joined by Razvan Mavrodin and Cezar Popescu at hooker and loosehead prop respectively.
