Toulouse deny Di Rollo signing

Toulouse rugby officials have moved quickly to deny that Scotland centre Marcus Di Rollo has signed for the French giants.

Early reports had suggested that the much anticipated move had finally been completed. It was said that the Edinburgh star had signed a two-year deal with an option to extend this by a year if the player wanted to.

However Toulouse released an official statement that denied such claims.

“Contrary to what has been announced in various media, Stade Toulousain has not recruited the Scottish international centre Marcus Di Rollo. The club and the player are still in negotiation and no signing has yet been completed.”
