Cummins replaces Speight in Wallabies squad

Brumbies winger Henry Speight has been replaced in the Wallabies squad for the Rugby Championship by Western Force winger Nick Cummins.

Speight is currently suspended from playing for the Wallabies for a spear tackle in the Brumbies play off match against the Stormers.

Fijian winger Speight has been granted compassionate leave from the Wallabies squad and allowed to return home to Fiji following the death of his grandfather.

A statement from the ARU said that Speight will remain out of the Wallabies squad until the squad returns from Argentina later this month.

The Wallabies will train on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast this week ahead of the Rugby Championship opener against South Africa in Brisbane on July 18.
