Stormers vs Cheetahs Super Rugby Preview

Out of the last six Super Rugby matches between the Cape Town based Stormers and the Bloemfontein based Cheetahs both teams have won three matches each.

This match will be a special occasion as it will be the Cheetahs final match under coach Naka Drotske who has been given an early release.

The Stormers have made three changes for this week Nizaam Carr replacing Schalk Burger at No.6 in line with the SARU agreement on resting Springbok players.

In the second change up front, Vincent Koch gets a start at tighthead prop with Frans Malherbe reverting to the bench, whilst Nic Groom and Louis Schreuder swap between the No.21 and No.9 jerseys – with Groom starting – in the only change to the backline.
