Chiefs start McKenzie at 10 against the Highlanders

The Chiefs have named Marty McKenzie to start at 10 and his brother at 15 for this week’s crucial Super Rugby match against the Highlanders at Invercargill.

Prop Pauliasi Manu returns to the starting team along with lock Michael Fitzgerald who partners with veteran Ross Filipo who gets another run this week.

Maama Vaipulu will replace Liam Messam who suffered a left shoulder injury during the Chiefs v Bulls match in Rotorua and is undergoing further investigation to determine the full extent of the injury.

In his absence Sam Cane will captain the side while the only other change to the team, Mitchell Crosswell comes into the replacements.
