The Chiefs will contest the rest of the Super Rugby season without lock Michael Allardice after he injured his knee in the Chiefs loss to the Hurricanes.
Allardice was forced from the field early in the Round 14 match in Wellington and it has now been confirmed that the lock ruptured his medial ligament in his left knee.
The recovery time for this type of injury is up to eight weeks which makes Allardice’s expected return after the 2015 Super Rugby final which is on July the 4th.
