The Waratahs have named their Super Rugby team to play the Sharks at Allianz Stadium on Saturday with Stephen Hoiles replacing the injured Jacques Potgieter.
Hoiles promotion to the starting line up is the only change to the starting team that lost to the Western Force in Perth last weekend.
Potgieter’s ommission from the team is due to a chest injury he sustained last weekend playing in Perth.
Waratahs coach Michael Cheika has named an extended bench of 10 players as there is a small amount of doubt over the fitness of flanker Michael Hooper.
Wallabies hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau has also been left out of the team while he recovers from his latest bout of concussion and Tolu Latu starts.
Hugh Roach has been named on the replacements bench as cover for Latu at hooker.
