The Waratahs have announced that Edinburgh bound Fijian-born winger Taqele Naiyaravoro’s application for an Australian Temporary Work (Long Stay Activity) visa (subclass 401) has been approved by the Department of Immigration.
The visa approval means that Naiyaravoro will be able to tour South Africa with the Waratahs – (pending approval of entry visa by South African government) later this month.
This visa is for professional and amateur sportspeople, judges and adjudicators who want to come to Australia to participate in their field of sport and entitles the holder to the following rights:
– stay in Australia for the period of the nominated position, with a maximum stay of two years
– do the work or activity specified in the nomination
– bring eligible family members to Australia
– enter and leave Australia while the visa is valid.
