Wallabies captain Michael Hooper says that he expects to be available to play in this weekend’s Super Rugby match against the Sharks in Sydney.
Hooper suffered an injury to his knee in last weekend’s 18-11 loss to the Western Force in Perth.
Hooper tried to play on to the finish with the injury but had to be substituted late in the match on Saturday.
There were concerns that the star flanker could miss this weekend’s match but he hold Waratahs officials on Monday that his knee feels alright and that he expects to resume training with the team this week.
Hooper said that he does not think the injury will prevent him from playing against the Sharks at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
