Chiefs looking to secure Tasman coach Keane

Hamilton based Super Rugby franchise the Chiefs are looking to sign Tasman coach Kieran Keane for the 2016 Super Rugby season.

English Premiership rugby London Irish confirmed the appointment of Chiefs assistant coach Tom Coventry for next season so Chiefs coach Dave Rennie needs a new assistant.

Keane was seen in the Chiefs coaching box during the Chiefs victory over the Western Force in Hamilton on Friday with Rennie and Coventry.

Tasman CEO Tony Lewis has however revealed that the Chiefs aren’t the only New Zealand Super Rugby franchise that are looking at snapping up Keane.

“There’s no doubt the Chiefs are courting KK and I imagine there’s a number of other Super provinces in New Zealand who are doing the same, “he told Newstalk ZB.
