Cheetahs lose Oosthuizen for Lions clash

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has named his Super Rugby team to play the Lions at Emirates Airline (Ellis) Park on Saturday.

The Cheetahs will face the Lions without Coenie Oosthuizen as he has been ruled out for a week due to a back injury.

Maks van Dyk comes into the team as his replacement and Ewald van der Westhuizen is promoted to the bench.

Joe Pietersen starts at fullback replacing Coenie van Wyk who started last week against the Reds. Van Wyk suffered a ligaments injury in the game against the Reds and will be out of action for approximately four weeks.

Tienie Burger replaces Heinrich Brussow who broke his arm during the game against the Reds and Carel Greeff comes on to the replacements bench.

Willie du Plessis will take up the duty as fly half with Clayton Blommetjies on the bench.
