Coles captains Hurricanes against the Force

Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd has named his team to play the Western Force in Perth on Friday with Dane Coles taking over the captaincy.

Coach Boyd has rotated his squad and named Coles to make his Hurricanes captaincy debut in the absence of Conrad Smith who has been rested this week.

Twenty-eight-year-old Coles will start alongside Reggie Goodes and Ben Franks in the ‘Canes front row.

Boyd’s rotation policy also sees Blade Thomson moving to lock alongside James Broadhurst, while Ardie Savea comes back in to the starting line-up.

Victor Vito will also have his first start for the 2015 season, along with Chris Smiley and James Marshall.

Manawatu fullback Nehe Milner-Skudder returns from a knee injury, and will come off the bench for the Canes.
