Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd says that even though they will leave South Africa unbeaten and with eight points he is not happy with the way they played.
The Hurricanes head to Western Australia to face the Western Force in Perth with wins over the Lions and the Bulls behind them.
The Hurricanes start is their best start to a Super Rugby season since 2010 which was the last time they won their first two matches.
Boyd says that he is pleased that they are unbeaten but cautioned that all the good work they have done so far could be undone if they did not improve.
“We are certainly happy with the eight points but I am not overly happy with the way we played. “
“But at the end of the day we came for points and we got it, so we are delighted,” Boyd said.
“It is a 16-round competition, to get two (victories) is great but if you lose your next two or three you’ve wasted the opportunity.”
“But we are certainly delighted to start well especially at Ellis Park and Loftus,” added the Hurricanes coach.
