Reports in France have linked All Black and Crusaders star Richie McCaw with PROD2 leaders Pau for next season.
All Black captain Richie McCaw is contracted to the New Zealand Rugby Union until the end of the season so given his high profile he will inevitably attract a number of big offers.
French newspaper Midi Olympique have suggested that Pau, who recently signed All Blacks centre Conrad Smith, are leading the race to sign McCaw.
It is not know whether McCaw plans to retire at the end of the Rugby World Cup but he could clearly earn a figure in the region of Euro 750,000 per annum for another year or two.
