France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has called up Racing-Metro lock Wenceslas Lauret as a replacement for the injured Charles Ollivon in France’s extended 31-man Six Nations squad.
Ollivon has been ruled out after he injured his shoulder playing for his club Bayonne in their European Rugby Challenge Cup victory over La Rochelle at the weekend.
Twenty-five-year-old Lauret featured for France in last year’s Six nations championship after making his international debut against South Africa in Cape Town in 2010.
Saint-Andre’s 31-man group will join up for a training camp in the Pyrenees region from January 25 and they start their Six Nations campaign against Scotland at the Stade de France on February 7.
