France captain Thierry Dusautoir has announced that he has extended his contract with Top 14 Rugby club Toulouse for two more seasons.
Thirty-three-year-old Dusautoir made the anouncement on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
“I am very happy to be a Toulouse player for the next two seasons! Thank you to the supporters and management for their confidence!”
Capped 70 times by France, Dusautoir joined Toulouse in 2006 from Biarritz after spells with Bordeaux-Begles and Colomiers, and has won three French titles and one European Cup in the club’s colours.
He has captained the national side since 2009 and during last year’s tour of Australia surpassed Fabien Pelous’ record of captaining France on 42 occasions. He has now led the side out 46 times.
