Sharks sign Bothma for two Super Rugby seasons

Durban based Super Rugby franchise the Sharks have announced that they have signed loose-forward, Renaldo Bothma on a two year Super Rugby contract.

Bothma will return to the Pumas after he has completed his Super Rugby commitments for the Sharks.

Commenting on his signing, The Sharks CEO, John Smit said: “We have witnessed Renaldo’s skill and explosiveness during this year’s Currie Cup competition and a player of his calibre will no doubt bolster our Super Rugby squad. We welcome him to Durban and trust that his stay at the Cell C Sharks will be a memorable one. ”

“I am very excited about joining the Sharks and the prospect of participating in Super Rugby. This experience will certainly be a highlight of my rugby career thus far “, added Renaldo Bothma.

The Sharks look forward to welcoming Renaldo, who will join the squad when they assemble for pre-season training on Monday, 17th November 2014.
