Bath smashed Premiership strugglers London Welsh 47-7 in their Anglo Welsh LV= Cup opener at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.
Bath furthered London Welsh’s misery as a largely youthful side thrashed the
Exiles at The Rec for the second time this season.
Academy blindside flanker Max Northcote-Green scored two of Bath’s seven tries
as one of a number of young stars who impressed.
Gavin Henson was at fly-half with George Ford away with England, contributing
12 points from the boot in the heavy win watched on by new star signing Sam
Burgess.
Nick Scott grabbed a consolation for Welsh to at least get them some points
on the board, but they have bigger problems than this competition to worry about.
