French fullback Brice Dulin will not feature for France in their Autumn Internationals after he broke his leg playing in the Top 14 for Racing Metro.
The France coaching staff announced that the 24-year-old Racing-Metro star has been ruled out for up to seven weeks as he has suffered a stress fracture of the leg.
Dulin has won 18 caps for France to date and has kept Maxime Medard under pressure for the fullback position although he too is in doubt for the November Tests after coming off after 60 minutes in Toulouse’s Top 14 match against Lyon.
Medard who has won 40 France caps had scored a try for Toulouse and set up another before feeling groin pain which led to him asking to be replaced.
“I heard my groin give way and I didn’t want to take any risks so I asked to come off,” he told Canal Plus.
“I will undergo scans and then we will see.”
