Haskell released from hospital and returns home

Aviva Premiership rugby club Wasps have confirmed that England international James Haskell is back at home after being discharched from hospital.

Haskell showed a marked improvemnt following a viral infection and was released from the hospital late yesterday afternoon.

The England loose-forward will continue to rest up at home this week before starting a gradual re-introduction to England training.

Haskell said that he appreciates everyone’s best wishes and supportive tweets and would like to thank the staff at Charing Cross Hospital for looking after him so well.

Despite being in hospital Haskell was named in the England squad for the Autum Internationals earlier this week.
