Bulls beat Melbourne Rebels in Pretoria

Out of the last two Super Rugby matches between the Bulls and the Melbourne Rebels the Pretoria based Bulls have won both.

We are waiting for the kick off.

The match is underway.

1.00: The Rebels win an early penalty but it is missed.

6.00: The Bulls win a penalty. Handre Pollard takes the kick and nails it.

12.00: The Bulls make a blood substitution as William Small Smith come on for Jan Serfontein.

15.00: The whistle goes for a TMO review. Paul Willemse lifts a Rebels player and dumps him so he is yellow carded. The Rebels kick for touch.

18.00: The Rebels have a scrum after a knock on. It has to be reset so we go again.

19.00: The Bulls win a penalty from the scrum on the half way line for illegal scrumming so Pollard will kick for posts. He nails it.

23.00: The Rebels go on the attack and sustain it for a several phases and the Jack Debreczeni slices through and scores. TRY!

24.00: The try is converted by Debreczeni and the Rebels lead.

25.00: Penalty to the Bulls as Alex Rokobaro changes his line to block Jurgen Visser going for a high ball. Pollard slots the penalty and Willemse comes back on.

30.00: The Rebels concede a penalty on the 5m line and get a warning for illegal play. Next one is cards.

30.00: The Bulls choose to kick for posts. Pollard nails it.

32.00: The Rebels lose their captain Scott Fuglistaller to the sin bin. He protests and walks. The Bulls kick for touch.

33.00: The Bulls win the line out and use the maul but then they knock on.

34.00: The Rebels win the scrum and clear the ball to almost their 22m line.

35.00; The Bulls win the line out and Piet van Zyl slips through but is then caught. The Bulls go wide but the Rebels force the knock on.

38.00: The Rebels win their line out and start their attack from inside their half. They go from side to side and then kick upfield. The Bulls kick the ball out near the half way line.

40.00: Penalty to the Rebels for not supporting their body weight as the siren sounds. Debreczeni will kick for posts.

41.00: Debreczeni takes the shot but misses. Its half time.

The Bulls kick off and we are underway with the second half.

41.00: The Bulls get the perfect start as they run the ball and find a hole and eventually after many in the team handle the ball Paul Willemse scores. TRY!

42.00: Pollard slots the conversion.

46.00: The Rebels go through 8 phases on attack but then they are called back as a player was held in the tackle. Bulls penalty. They kick for touch.

48.00: The Bulls go through the phases gaining ground on the Rebels. They go from side to side gradually getting closer to the Rebels 22. Matfield knocks on and the Rebels kick upfield.

52.00: The Bulls work the ball up to the Rebels after a line out and Paul Willemse goes over for his second TRY!

52.00: Pollard slots the conversion.

57.00: The Bulls go through 10 phases and get the ball to the 5m line. They go wide and Francois Hougaard slips through a couple of tackles and scores. TRY!

59.00:Pollard takes the conversion and nails it. Roelof Smit has a suspected broken nose and has been replaced.

64.00: The Rebels get some attacking ball and get to the Bulls 5m line. They win a line out and drive over the line. The referee says held up. Several big runs from Tom English have got the Rebels where they are.

68.00: The Bulls get some pressure relieved as they win a penalty from the scrum. They kick for touch.

70.00: Penalty to the Rebels. They kick for touch and send the Bulls well downdfield. Marvin Orie comes on for Victor Matfield.

74.00: The Rebels are not giving up by any means. They go through 8 phases but the Bull
