The Canes have a bye next weekend so they only have the match against the Chiefs Chiefs on Friday to put themselves in the best position possible to qualify for the play offs.
For both sides, nothing short of a win is required, and Mark Hammett’s men are focused on backing up what was an uplifting 16-9 win over the Crusaders in Wellington last weekend.
