Force fullback Hayward set to change allegiances

New Zealand born Western Force fullback Jayden Hayward is set to change his national allegiances and push for a Wallabies jersey.

Hayward was born in Taranaki and played for the Hurricanes and Highlanders before moving to Western Australia last year.

The Western Force fullback scored the match-winning try against the Reds on Saturday in Brisbane.

Hayward is in the second year of his three-year-qualifying period as a foreign development player.

The fullback says that he is keen to stay in Perth Western Australia and play for Australia’s Wallabies after the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Hayward says that every player wants to play international rugby and if the opportunity comes knocking he won’t turn it down.
