Sharks lose Jordaan for a month of Super Rugby

Super Rugby leaders the Sharks have suffered their first real injury for the 2014 season as they have lost centre Paul Jordaan for a month.

The Sharks have had minor injuries this season such as the temporary loss of Patrick Lambie last weekend but this is the first of the Sharks longer term injuries.

Jordaan, who was one of the Sharks tryscorers in their victory over the Lions on Saturday, has undergone a scope to his knee and is expected to be out of action for a month.

While the loss of Jordaan is a blow the Sharks have received some good news as Lambie has returned to training and is expected to be available for selection.

The Sharks have also been boosted by the return of JP Pietersen after he finished a playing stint in Japan.

Pietersen’s Panasonic Wild Knights beat the defending champions Suntory Goliath 45-22 to win the Top League title.
