France international scrum-half Morgan Parra was handed a two-week suspension which rules him out of the Six Nations match against Scotland on March 8, the Ligue National de Rugby (LNR) announced Thursday.
The 25-year-old Clermont star, who has picked up 54 caps for France, was found guilty of headbutting Montpellier’s Rene Ranger during a Top 14 clash on February 22.
His club also announced they would not file an appeal against the suspension.
Parra who has missed France’s opening three Six Nations ties, will now be available for selection by France coach Philippe Saint-Andre for the key match against Ireland on March 15 at Stade de France.
