French centre Wesley Fofana is unlikely to play any further part in this season’s Six Nations Championship after suffering a broken rib in the 27-6 defeat in Wales according to Clermont.
Fofana went off in the second half of Friday night’s game in Cardiff and a medical examination has confrimed the rib was broken.
He is now likely to be out three to four weeks, which will keep him out of France’s final Six Nations games, against Scotland in Edinburgh on March 8 and Ireland in Paris a week later.
