Aviva Premiership Rugby Club Sale Sharks have signed new contracts with former England international Mark Cueto and fellow winger Tom Brady.
Cueto who is the clubs longest serving player and made his debut in 2001 has signed a one year deal. Mark is currently the Premiership’s leading try scorer of all time with 84 tries.
On signing the deal Mark said, “I am delighted to sign a new deal. I am really enjoying my rugby at the club and am looking forward to adding to my try tally.
“Dimes (Director of Rugby Steve Diamond) has assembled a great squad of players and I want to play my part to help the club do well.
Locally born Tom Brady who made his debut in the 2010-11 season has signed a new two year deal to stay at the club.
Mark Cueto believes Tom can push on and one day overtakes his own record.
Speaking about his deal Tom said, “I’m delighted to have signed the new deal.”
“Sale are a club I have grown up supporting, they are my local team and its something I’ve always wanted to be a part of.”
“Its a great environment to be in so I’m delighted that I have been able to commit to the club for the next two years. “
Steve Diamond said, “I am delighted both Mark and Tom have agreed new deals. Mark can play centre, wing or full back and is enjoying a new lease of life with the club.”
“He continues to score tries and is a player the younger lads look up to and go to for advice. ”
“Tom is a local lad and playing the best rugby of his career now and I am sure he will represent the club for many years to come.”
