Hurricanes lose Toomaga-Allen for eight weeks

 Hurricanes prop Jeffery Toomaga-Allen’s Super Rugby season is almost certainly over after he suffered a knee in the Hurricanes last outing.

Toomaga-Allen has been ruled out of rugby for eight weeks after he injured his knee in the Hurricanes match against the Chiefs on the 17th May.

The Hurricanes had the bye on the weekend so this injury happened Toomaga-Allen came off the bench just over two weeks ago.

Toomaga-Allen suffered a tear of his MCL, but luckily for him surgery is not required.

The Hurricanes play the Brumbies this weekend in Canberra and then break for the June Internationals.

Their first match back after the bye is against the Chiefs in Hamilton at the end of June. The Hurricanes are currently in 10th place overall.
