Du Plessis starts in Sharks clash with the Force

The Sharks have named their team to play the Force in their final match on tour with prop Jannie du Plessis returning to the starting line up.

Du Plessis comes in for Wiehahn Herbst to start at tighthead with Anton Bresler and Pieter-Steph du Toit swapping jerseys.

Willem Alberts gets his first Super Rugby start of the season after coming off the bench last week and Jean Deysel drops to the replacments bench.

The only change to the backline is Odwa Ndungane coming in to the starting line up on the wing to replace Piet Lindeque.

John Plumtree says that they will not understimate the Force despite their lowly position in the Super Rugby standings.

“They beat the Crusaders, they lost by one point to the Chiefs, the 2012 champs, and with those results, they have some belief, it’s going to be a tough game,” said Plumtree.

“They’re a side that’s clearly working very hard for each other and we know it is going to be a really tough task from our side”.
