Reds lose Faingaa so Harris starts against W.Force

The Reds have been forced into a late change ahead of their Super Rugby match against the Western Force as centre Anthony Faingaa has been ruled out of the match with a back injury.

Medical staff have assessed back discomfort experienced by Faingaa following yesterday’s Captain’s Run and have chosen to withdraw him from the match.

His withdrawal means eight-cap Wallaby Mike Harris earns a promotion into the starting side at outside centre while Dom Shipperley comes onto the bench.

Shipperley was initially ruled out of the match earlier in the week with a back injury of his own but trained strongly in the later part of the week and has been passed fit to play.
