Manu’s Super Rugby season could be over already

Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has revealed that number eight Nasi Manu could be ruled out for the rest of the Super Rugby season.

The Highlanders lost their opening Super Rugby match to the Chiefs 27-41 at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

The Highlanders failed to take any points in the standings from the match so they are currently bottom of the New Zealand Conference.

“Nasi’s not looking good guys,” Joseph told Newstalk ZB.

“It looks like he’s got a broken foot or an ankle which is a major blow for the team but obviously a bigger blow for Nasi who was in great shape.”

Meanwhile Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says that they have picked up no new injuries from their Super Rugby opening match.
