Munster hold off Saracens in Heineken Cup

Ronan O’Gara kicked all of his team’s points as Munster held off Saracens 15-9 in Pool 1 of the Heineken Cup at Thomond Park.

O’Gara slotted five penalties to Owen Farrell’s three but the result could have been very different as the Saracens fly half missed four of his goal kicks.

The tryless result means that Saracens take a losing points from the match in the standings and hold on to the top spot in their pool while Munster are tie on 10 points but in second place.
