Fiji forced into making changes ahead of tour

Fiji have been forced into making two late changes to their squad ahead of their four match tour of Europe starting with a Test against England.

Suva center Josaia Lotawa failed a fitness test and has been replaced in the 30-man touring squad by England-based Sireli Naqelevuki.

New Zealand-based scrumhalf Nemia Kenatale has also been ruled out and will be replaced by Nadroga fullback Aisea Natoga.

Melbourne Rebels utility Samu Wara will provide cover at scrumhalf for Scotland-based Nikola Matawalu and Lautoka’s Kelemedi Bola.

Fiji will start its tour on Nov. 10 with a test against England, followed by matches against Gloucester, Ireland A and Georgia.

The team presented its I-Tatau or departure gift to Fiji President Ratu Epeli Nailtikau on Wednesday and leaves for London on Friday.
