Reports: Redpath sacked by Sale Sharks

Reports have confirmed that Sale Sharks’ director of rugby Bryan Redpath has been asked to leave his position, following the club’s dismal start to the season.

According to Sky Sports, Redpath has been sacked following a run of seven successive Aviva Premiership defeats to start this season.

The Scot’s short appointment only lasted five months.

This follows last month’s news that the club would dismiss forwards coach Steve Scott as a result of the club’s shocking results.

It is, however, unclear whether Redpath will leave the club completely after aSale spokesman would not confirm the news.

“Sale Sharks would like to place on record that Bryan Redpath has NOT been dismissed by the club, ” he said.
