Australia beat Argentina in Rosario

Argentina’s Pumas have not beaten Australia’s Wallabies for fifteen years but many have predicted that they will end their wait for another victory this weekend.

32.00: Landajo makes a break and makes some ground but the Wallabies defence stops him and they boot the ball back. There is some aerial ping pong which ends with a penalty to the Wallabies.

 

33.00: Argentina are playing dangerously as they enter the ruck from the wrong side which could lead to another card. Beale takes the penalty kick from over 50m but misses.

 

36.00: Penalty to Argentina, Hernandez takes the kick but pulls it wide.

 

38.00: Argentina putting Australia under some pressure in their 25 but the Wallabies turn it over and Beale kicks deep to clear.

 

39.00: Penalty to Argentina for tackler not releasing. Hernandez lines up from just inside the halfway line but pulls it to the right.

42.00: The Pumas win a scrum but then the Wallabies turn the ball over at the breakdown and attack.
